Title: Equality at Williams
Post by: cosworth151 on April 20, 2013, 12:30:06 PM
When was the last time this happened?

In Q1 today in Bahrain, both Williams drivers had exactly the same time, to three decimal places: 1:34.425. Since Valttteri Bottas posted his time before team mate Pastor Maldonado, Bottas was listed as 16th and Maldonado as 17th. To compound the oddity, this meant that Valtteri advanced to Q2 and Pastor didn't - with exactly the same time!

Yeah, that was funny.  I was wondering how they picked their order.  Thanks for clearing that up.
