BMW appoint new engine designer
Markus Duesmann is to replace Heinz Paschen as engine designer at Formula One team BMW Sauber.
Duesmann used to work for rivals Mercedes but BMW director Mario Theissen said the 37-year-old wanted a "new challenge".

"His ideas for working and leading a team match our point of view. We are convinced Markus is the right person to fill this position," said Duesmann.

Paschen leaves by mutual agreement on 1 January next year
