Title: Vanity Panels

I've heard a few folks say that they think the teams will scratch their vanity panels before Melbourne. I never had anything against the stepped noses, but the cars this year I feel are so much prettier, because of the vanity panels. I dearly hope the teams don't ditch them. Any chance the FIA would require them?

When it comes to shedding few tenth, I think the teams will be ruthless, and they should be. As they are running their testing with this vanity panel they may stay. But we will know it for sure after 3rd winter testing. But the chances will always looms in the horizon.

I wonder what the aero effect of the vanity panels will be. That could possible make up for the small extra weight.
