Title: Damon Hill to race again?
Post by: Wizzo on July 26, 2006, 04:59:21 PM

Damon Hill has revealed he is considering making a return to motor racing in the Grand Prix Masters series.

The former World Champion had vowed that he wouldn't don his racing gloves again, but says he is tempted by the prospect of racing against the likes of Nigel Mansell and Emerson Fittipaldi.

"I am very tempted by the series," Damon told Motorsport News. "I have spoken to Nigel Mansell about it and it sounds very exciting."

"I never did get the chance to race against him properly in Formula 1, because the timing just wasn't right.

"In fact, I spent most of my early career being a test monkey for Nigel so I would love to get out there and give him a run for his money."

Hill could make his debut when the Grand Prix Masters series appears at Silverstone next month.
