The criminals in Dubai will need to think twice before committing any crime now, because the Police just included a McLaren MP4-12C to its convoy of the luxurious patrol cars. Possessing a twin-turbocharged 3.8L engine and lightly weighing Carbon fiber chassis, the car’s speed can go from Zero to 100km/h in just 3.1 seconds!
To give the Gulf touch, the car will be painted in the green and white colors that represent Dubai and will carry the number plate bearing the number “2020”.
The Dubai Police believed that it needed such a car in order to curb crime because the city is full of highways! ::)

I wonder if they are hiring any officers?

And, in the words of Elwood Blues, "It's got a cop motor, cop transmission, cop tires......"

Since Ford stupidly no longer sells full size rear drive cars in the States, Claw_grrrl recently got a former N.C. Sheriff's Office Crown Vic Police Interceptor. She's named it Elwood.

Black with two big gold stripes on each side, with a big blank spot where the sheriff's logo used to be.

Beauty...love it.

Just add a little flash light, and I am sure there will be some nervous moments among the drivers ahead :D

Now the Dubai police have added a Bugatti Veyron to their stable. Their motor pool already includes an Audi R8 V10 Plus, Bentley Continental GT, Brabus B63S, Ferrari FF and Nissan GT-R.

Is this a police squad or car enthusiast's collection. :fool: :fool:

Here is the latest line up - incredible!

I get the point, they want a pool of exotic cars for their joyride, and don't want to get in trouble with speeding tickets, so they let the government buy it for them and made them police cars, no fuss of spending thousands nor the trouble of speeding.
