It looks like Spa-Francorchamps will stay in F1 for a while longer. :yahoo:
The Wallonian regional government reportedly has signed an agreement to keep the Belgian Grand Prix at the historic track for at least another three years.
"It's a good deal which ensures that the region of Wallonia retains an event which contributes to the promotion the region on the world stage," Wallonia's vice president and economy minister Pierre-Yves Jeholet told L'Echo. "It's also a new era because it's the first time we're negotiating with the directors of Liberty Media.
"The proceeds for the Wallonian economy were EUR 20.5 million in 2017, an increase of 21 percent from 2016."

There are tracks on the calendar which none of us would miss ... Spa is NOT! one of them. Glad to hear it's now confirmed for the foreseeable future!!

One thing Max is good for: He brought a significant uptick in attendance at SPA.

Spa is still high up on my ‘must do’ list, so I’m glad it’s around for the foreseeable future. :yahoo: :yahoo:

Nope, got one in our backyard. We have annual passes with access through our garage. We negotiated a special deal for the whole family.

Not sure finding out that Spa is run by Walloons instead of Flemings enhances my view of one of my favourite tracks. ;)
Good to know we've still got it though. :good: :good: :good:
