Title: GP Wizard Hangman 2 (Birthday Competition)

The Competition
Guess the words to complete the following sentence:

----- ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- -----
----- ----- ----- ----- -----

The Prize
The completed sentence will tell you what the prize is.


The Rules - Important
1. Do not guess two words in succession - you must wait for another member to guess before having another go or guessing the entire sentence. I will confirm if the guesses are correct at random intervals (This allows me to control the speed of the competition to make it fair for different time zones.)
2. The winner is the first to post the entire sentence correctly
3. The dots do not indicate the number of letters in each word

Wait a minute, shouldn't we have been hanged* by now?  ;)

*"Hanged" is correct in this instance, it being used only in the context of stringing up humans.  Everything else is "hung".

Alright..is one of you techie guys hacking poor Wiz's site?  We seem to be going backwards here - page 8 is really page 6 or so, and my (winning?) guess is nowhere to be found.

Good win, Steven!  I found it too, but you had already answered, so I threw in the 'First Edition' on a lark.

Hey Wiz - looking at the picture, it seems a bit thin to cover all the races for all the seasons.  I was thinking about ordering it, but by my estimation if it includes a page or more per race, it should be in the 600 page range.  Is it just a few highlights from each season?  It looks a bit thinner than that.

Thank you all for the congrats.  Thanks to the Wiz for yet another great prize and yet another time consuming competition.  Thanks to all who attempted to answer and in so doing came up with most of the words in my answer.  And finally thanks to Yahoo for their search engine without which it would probably have taken me until the third birthday to come up with commemorative.



I think it is interesting that such a book exists and it seems like none of us apart from the Wiz knew it existed.

I received my prize today.

It is a facinating book.  I assumed that it would only contain motor racing stories but it has a good mix of racing and general news which gives a context to the racing.
