Title: Fire Scooter
Post by: Wizzo on March 26, 2010, 05:56:48 PM
Colin Furze is a man with a vengeance – perhaps he has read too much Ghost Rider comics during his youth as he has rigged his 60mph bike with a rear-facing flamethrower that can spew flames of up to 12-feet for one simple reason – he is fed up with drivers cutting him up on the road.  :fool:

The flames will shoot out with a press of a button on the handlebar, and according to Colin, it makes him feel like James Bond. No idea on what happens if the wind changes direction suddenly – would innocents get singed?

Good thing this is not street legal!

Musta been 60kph...you'd have to be nuts to go 60mph on a scooter in the first place, and going on the freeway on one is suicide.   :fool: :fool:

Apparently the man who created this flaming monster has a bit of history with this sort of stuff, according to on commentator on urban75.net

"Colin Furze is a well known pyro-head, motorbike scooter enthusiast and all round nutter. He currently holds the Guinness world record for the biggest bonfire and longest scooter. He even built his own wall of death! He's a bit of a legend in some circles. Doesn't mean he's not a fool for riding the flame thrower down his local street, but he's not an outright twat as everyone seems to be suggesting."

There's now a vid of the flaming crazy moped.
