Porsche has never been very successful in F1. In the early '60's a full factory effort took only 1 win, while later, as an engine supplier, they were often under powered and overweight. It will be interesting to see if they are truly committed, and if they can finally bring their endurance racing success to F1.

Sorry, I don't think Channel 4 would release EJ to do that ;)

If Porsche is calling, I think Channel 4 would release him. I also think his role would be more like Niki’s at Merc, and Niki didn’t let his duties at Merc get in the way of making more money with ORF and RTL.

I hope it happens but the date on the article (1 April) makes me nervous. ;)
I wonder if the FIA would consider letting Porsche run a 180 degree V-6.

You're right to take with big pinch of salt Cossie, the website now lists the story as being:-
"AN APRIL FOOLS EFFORT BY GP247"
Good one though in the present miserable Covid-19 situation. ;)
Must admit I had serious doubts Ron and Eddie could ever agree to work together when I first read the headline.

I’ve clearly been burned. :fool:
