Title: 2018 GG
Post by: Dare on November 25, 2018, 03:04:38 PM
Looks like we have a tie again this year. Whoever has the
most pole picks will be the champ. I'll sort  them all and post
the results later

Checking the poles LukeWW has 9 and
Mutely has 8. Congrats to Luke and Mutely.

Too bad F1 doesn't have the same close finishes as the GG

Congrats to you both! Well done  :yahoo:

Well done to Wizzo & Dare for putting it on, too. Thank you so much.   :good:

Congratulations to LukeWW and Mutley, you were both exceptional!

It was a tightly fought competition, always enjoyable even on the weekends when I scored 5.  Next season I am switching to Mercedes powered Predicting, so I expect an upsurge in performance.  :tease:

Thanks to Wizzo and Dare once more, this competition was one of the big things I missed whilst I was away from the site.

I made a mistake on the poles. Both Luke Warmwater and
Mutely tied at  a piece but Luke Ww had the highest race total
in no double up races at 17. So Luke Ww is still the champion.
Sorry about the mistake as usual Wiz sorted things out

Congrats to both...well played.
The GG sure makes watching F1 more enjoyable when you see it with friends.
Thanks

Thanks Dare and the Wizard, this competition is one of the most interesting things for me and probably the only reason I still follow F1. I have been a fan since the days of Sterling Moss, in those days it was 2 months before you got the race results in the magazines. Different now!
The only reason my score was so high was because I lucked out with my Monaco picks, Mutley was far more consistent and he earned it the most. Congratulations to him and also John S.
Thanks everyone, though I don't post very much I do read everything you say and enjoy the site very much.

Great GG across the season, well done to the worthy winners. Very interesting it will be next year with so many driver and team swaps. happy close season to all.

I thought we had gone for inverted grids and the point was to get the least points...have to read those rules a bit better next year !  ;) ;)

Congrats to everyone and looking forward to lots of forum talk over the winter monthss.

Big congrats to both LukeWW & Mutley for brilliant GG performances.  :good:  :good:

I gave it my all in the last race but Bottas, Grosjean, Max and the damned Honda lump in Gasily's Torro Rosso were determined to prove me wrong.  ;) :D

Big thanks to Wizzo for the site and GG, and a special mention for Dare who does a much better job than most race stewards.  :good:

I believe there is a wooden spoon with my name on it!  .... can I hand it over to Hartley or Sirotkin (once I've used it to stir my Sunday Dinner pasta sauce of course).

Best Regards,
Cal :)
