I would just like to add my congratulations to Ian for his superb picks in this year Grid Game, you're indeed a worthy champion. :yahoo:
A massive thank you also goes out to Dare without whom the Grid Game would not be possible or indeed even exist. Thanks also to Rom for his help with the GG spreadsheet and for putting us out of our misery with his almost instantaneous updates in the chat room.
Well done to everyone who entered making 2008 the best (and most nail biting) Grid Game to date, watch out for next year, its going to be even better! :good:

Thanks to Dare and GG Champ '07 Rom for running the game so well. With so many races decided off the track after the race was over, it hasn't been an easy year.
Congratulations to you too, Wizzo. A fine job in the game. Thank you vary much for putting on the game, putting up he prizes and giving all of us a place to hang out. :good:

Thanks to Dare and Rom for all the hard work and the mid-season rule changes/updates that were introduced without any dissent when unusual situations occurred. I think it was a lesson to the FIA in how to adapt to unexpected situations without upsetting anyone.
I am amazed at how close the majority of players are in this game when you conseider how many different drivers have won races or scored points over the season.

Once again my happiest congrats to you Ian. has it sunk in yet?? your the champ mate!!... and I couldn't be happier about it. It was between the 2 of us last year and we did it again... it's 1 year a piece, even points after 2 years... next year it's for the glory... LOL....

My hugest congrats to you again Ian. I knew you could do it this year. So after 2 years we are 1 championship a piece and even on points... next year is the tie breaker mate.

yeah I was away for the weekend on holidays... no internet access though.... I was supposed to be on the sunshine coast till friday... but the boss and I had a fight so I came home early. I couldn't take Ian's prize.... because he told me if I took it, I had to take Mrs Ian too....

The Grid Game was (again) superb this year, but watch out, we have a few surprises in store for next year. Once again a BIG thank you to Dare, Rom and of course everyone who entered making 2008 GPWizard's best year ever.
