Pirelli redesigned the carcase on the Super Softs, making it thinner. This did not agree with some of the teams chassis. R/B and Ferrari were pretty much just as fast on Softs as Supers in Q3 in Spain. So they want Hypers instead.

And Haas went faster on the Soft than the Supersoft...
