This car makes me admit that it is possible to build a cool 6 cylinder open wheel race car.
It's a 1919 Studebaker Big 6 race car that was at the annual Lancaster Old Car Festival last week-end. It's powered by a 354 cubic inch Studebaker Big 6 flathead fitted with dual Stromberg downdraft carbs. Note the Firestone Non Skid tires. The tread blocks actually spell out "NON SKID."
