Title: Another Manufacturer's Open Wheel Racer
Post by: cosworth151 on June 05, 2019, 03:51:49 PM
This car makes me admit that it is possible to build a cool 6 cylinder open wheel race car.

It's a 1919 Studebaker Big 6 race car that was at the annual Lancaster Old Car Festival last week-end. It's powered by a 354 cubic inch Studebaker Big 6 flathead fitted with dual Stromberg downdraft carbs. Note the Firestone Non Skid tires. The tread blocks actually spell out "NON SKID."
