Title: Jaguar and Williams break E-boat speed record
Post by: Scott on September 08, 2018, 10:17:51 PM
I like the idea of electric boats and yachts even more than electric road vehicles.  The fact that Williams and Jag are teaming up to move that tech forward is fantastic.  People can talk about Williams struggles at the track all day long, but they forget that Williams is an engineering company, and has its fingers in many different directions.

if Williams is building boats, maybe they can lure Adrian Newey back.  Isn't that his dream?

I think Williams was behind the propulsion, and Newey was fascinated more with America’s Cup style single hulls, not little motorboats.
