Always makes me nervous when they announce a departure without announcing an appointment.

He effectively went several weeks ago they've already redeployed staff inside Ferrari and some new lower ranks people have joined from another engine maker, Merc I believe.

I'm sure we discussed Marmorini's firing in a thread a while ago, so this is just the formal announcement. Wonder how many more weeks it will take them to confirm Pat Fry's departure as well?  ;)

Engine builders have become better at locking their top bods into contracts instead of just having normal employment terms so there is now less movement. Add to this Honda's choice to do all the design and development work in Japan for the new power unit, apparently they are wary of other firms trying to poach their staff, they'll be opening their UK base as late as Jan next year.
