United Airlines is sending ground crews to NASCAR pit stop school in the belief they can learn how to shave time off aircraft turnaround at airports.

I seem to remember McLaren were asked to consult with medical theatre operating teams in Britain, to organise and get their teams working smarter and more efficiently by using methods developed for fast cooperation during pit stops.
