Heineken Beer has signed on as a series sponsor of F1. The trackside adverts will appear starting at Montreal next month. The five year deal is reportedly valued at $150 million.
Many will remember a few years ago when Foster's had a similar deal.

Rolex is way out of my budget, so going to have a Heineken for this, its within my range. Cheers :D

Had a few Heinekens, not a fan.

We used to joke (but it was probably true) that more Fosters was consumed in Indy on F1 week-end than in all of Indiana for the rest of the year. ;)

Big fan of Heineken here!

I wonder how the non drinking Arab countries feel about
having Heineken for a sponsor.

I'm guessing they'll take it pragmatically. After all, the UAE controls most of the world's ports, which is how alcohol gets where it's going

Didn't they make teams remove all alcohol sponsors in the past in at least some of the countries?

I think that the Foster's deal excluded the races in Arab countries. I think it also mandated sale at all of the other venues. At Indy, one could buy a Foster's 24.4 oz "oil can" for the same price as 12 oz cans of other beers. Guess what most people got.
