Hiya all, belated christmas and new years wishes, i hope u all had a cool yule :good:
please excuse my non attendence ( or maybe thats a good thing ) but i'd had enough of f1 by the end of last season with the politics n stuff and ive been looking at scooby related stuff
was at the auto show at the wekend, was thinking about who from here was there but i couldnt remember :fool:
-
Louise goodman was hosting the show, she's gorgeous :swoon: and mark webber was there.
Also this fella who is renaults stunt driver, he had just done a world record for a J turn in the smallest space and at the end he was driving an evo on 2 wheels (yeah i know crap cars :DD)
-
before louise goodman came out there was a short film in memory of colin mcrae, then she introduced 1950s touring cars, and then Dakar Rally cars :good:
-

ive got more pics of cars that i'll post in the morning, but just spent ages resizing these and im off to bed now, but as motor sports fans, we all know there's more to our sport than just cars

-
and my scoob. only mod ive done so far is put a racebox backbox on it just so it sounds like theres actually a combustion engine under the bonnet ( things got 3 cats on it ) :DD

Well done Crazy Horse and welcome back!
Some really cool pictures there and I'm glad you had a good time. :good:
-
Some good pics there crazyhorse. :good:
-
hi all thanks :) thats pretty much it . The auto show was a bit of a disappointment, suppose i was expecting it to be like a motor show with concept car's n stuff, but it was an ok day out and i'd go again
-
Great pics.
Doesn't that Lotus look great with the bodywork on. When I was there it was off and all the pics I have seen were without bodywork. You can spend as much as you like on livery but you can't beat JPS.
-
Welcome back, CH!
Good job on the pix. I was especially interested in as14. I didn't know that Lucas Oil was marketing in the UK now.
(What did you think I was looking at in that pix? :nono:)

Hi cosworth well done for spotting the Lucas Oil Marketing, i never noticed it as my eyes were firmly fixed on the nose cone of the Orange Arrows F1 car in the bottom right hand corner of the pic (u can just make out the lost boys thingy)
:DD :DD
-
Hi Steven hope ur ok
that JPS advertising, more than the car, for some strange reason reminds me of beng a kid again. its a cracking car tho :good:
-
Nowadays he would probably be sacked but when I was at school one of the English teachers had a huge poster of a Emerson Fittipaldi in a Lotus 72 on his classroom wall.

I tend to think of that as the prototype Super Aguri SA05. ;)
