Title: Happy New Year!
Post by: Wizzo on December 31, 2010, 09:00:40 AM
:yahoo: Happy New Year everyone  :yahoo:

Have a great time tonight. May 2011 make you live, laugh and love.

Remember a New Year's resolution is something that goes in one year and out the other!  :D

All together now....

Should auld acquaintance be forgot
and never brought to mind?
Should auld acquaintance be forgot
and days of auld lang syne?
For auld lang syne, my dear,
for auld lang syne,
we'll take a cup of kindness yet,
for auld lang syne.

Should auld acquaintance be forgot
and never brought to mind?
Should auld acquaintance be forgot
and days of auld lang syne?
And here's a hand, my trusty friend
And gie's a hand o' thine
We'll tak'A cup o' kindness yet
For auld lang syne.

:yahoo: :yahoo: Happy New Year to all GP Wizard members  :yahoo: :yahoo:

Hard to believe that's it for 2010, that year went by in a flash. As we go into 2011 I still wonder will the dreams we had from watching 80's si-fi movies ever come true? A flying car would be handy, and a robot dog would be less likely to take a dump in the yard, we could do without the bacofoil jumpsuits though.

And every room had automatic sliding doors, too.

Happy New Year to you all, my friends!  :yahoo:  May we all be here to celebrate many more.

:yahoo: :yahoo: HAPPY NEW YEAR to EVERYONE   :yahoo: :yahoo:

May all your resolutions work out and may all your troubles be little ones.

On a point of order though, in "Auld Lang Zyne" after the words "and gie's a hand o’ thine!" the words ought to be:-

            And we’ll tak a right gude-willy waught,
            for auld lang syne.

I'm not Scottish but I have some fiercely proud McIntosh's as in laws, they hate people messing with Rabbi Burns and spoiling their heavy drinking - almost as much as they hate us English bastards.  :D :DD :DD

One of my friends lives in London, Ontario (Canada).  From her apartment you could see the Guy Lombardo Museum.

About to start work for the next 8 or so hours after already putting in 6hrs this morning from 6am to noon.  Not my favourite day as you can imagine.

:yahoo: :yahoo:  All the best to all of you for 2011   :yahoo: :yahoo:

My resolution is to pick the correct WDC winner for a change, maybe even come back for a competitive GG, and round off the year by winning the Advent Competition.

A belated Happy New Years to all!

I travelled about 600km round trip to a New Years party close to Victoria. 19 drunk people and sober me. A near fight, many "I love you man's", and a lot of eating. I guess it was fun for the drinkers!
