Title: Romain stirs it up

Interesting discussion in the drivers meeting

And seemingly a suitably vague conclusion looking at this article

It reads like a fan fiction, and there is no link to the official transcript.

I'm not doubting it, but surely drivers meetings are normally interesting and generally kept private?

Actually F1 has been uploading them to their youtube channel.  Here is the meeting in question:

But just on the note of seatbelts, did anyone else notice that it seemed to take Ferrari quite a long time to get Seb out of the car after they retired him?  There was an engineer in there up to his shoulders to try to sort it out, but it was certainly a minute or two instead of the seconds it normally takes, especially with crew helping.

I saw that, too. Definitely not a good thing in case of emergency.

Thanks for the link Scott.  I love when truth is better than fiction.

I thought this was going to be about the Grosjeans' upcoming cookbook when I first saw this thread...

Suffice to say I'm annoyed that the driver briefings are even being broadcast on YouTube in the first place.

There's some good stuff on their youtube channel...just wish they would stream the races there.  I like to see the drivers all together to see how they rank each other.  Judging by Lewis on his phone and ignoring the proceedings until he was called on, it sort of reminds me of him last season in the press conferences, and shows he doesn't have much respect for those around him.

...just saying'  ;) ;)

If they're usually this childish, I'd definitely be reading a book (given that every driver is forced to turn up, on pain of being banned from the weekend otherwise). Easier to preserve respect for those round me if I don't have to take that sort of antic into account. If I wanted to be round this sort of behaviour, I'd have volunteered to help out at the primary school down the road.
