Ever wonder what James Bond drives to the market?
Bertone is building a station wagon version of the Aston Martin Rapide. They have mislabeled it a shooting brake, but the photos clearly show that it is a four door. Sadly, they are only building one and it's already spoken for.

Wow! :swoon: For Aston that's a stretch limo. :D

Cos, a 'shooting brake' originated in Britain in the early 19th century for a vehicle used to carry shooting parties with their equipment and game that was shot.

I know. In the automotive age, it became the term for a small, sporting, 3 door auto with enough room to carry sporting gear, such as the guns and a dog (or a couple of surf boards :yahoo: ).
I've wanted an XJS Eventer shooting brake, coach built by Lynx, since I first saw a picture of one

Saw a Rapide on the street in Tucson a couple weeks ago. Absolutely beautiful car. Had to look twice to be sure it was the 4 door.

I seen a Rapide outside my hotel in Lisbon, Portugal a couple of weeks ago. Doesn't take a great picture but jez is it pretty up close.
