Title: BMW 328 Hommage concept car
Post by: Wizzo on May 24, 2011, 10:22:07 AM
BMW has used this year’s Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este event in Italy to mark the 75th anniversary of the original BMW 328 classic of the late 1930s by displaying the BMW 328 Hommage concept car.

The BMW 328 Hommage aims show how the designers of that time, Fritz Fiedler and Rudolf Schleicher, might have built the BMW 328 using modern technology.

The car combines design elements of the Vision ConnectedDrive concept with the twin elongated kidney grille setup. The striking front-end layout, mesh placed behind the entire face, a large carbon fiber “X” nose and an unusual headlight design impart futuristic looks to the Hommage.

Inline straight 3.0l 6cylinder.  I want one.  Gotta go out and get some lottery tickets!  ;)

Here's a bit more on it...

Actually I don't want one.  I won't ever buy BMW thanks to their screw around with Peter Sauber.
