Good one, Wizzo! My all time favorite F1 car, and probably why I have a fondness for Zanvoort. ;)
I though we could use a laugh, so here's Jerry Reed. You might remember his a Cletus "The Snowman" from Smokey & The Bandit."

There is a new Fangio documentary on Netflix. It's quite amazing (i've only watched the first half so far).
There's a lot of interviews with who's who in F1. A lot of the voices talk over footage of Fangio era racing, so it's fun to see if you can guess who's talking before they show up on screen.

My radio is primarily podcasts, and too many have nothing to cover other than the virus, so when I need to unplug I fire up Snap Judgement from WNYC Studios. Very soothing and interesting stories.
The Moth is another great series.
Non-F1 podcast suggestions are welcome (kind of turned off F1 at the moment and besides most F1 podcasts are either too boring, too long or too repetitive).

Thought I'd post this humorous tale about a young scientist with too much time on his hands due to lockdown.
Be careful what you do out there. ;)

The 1959 U.S. Grand Prix at Sebring. The 1st non-Indy 500 U.S.G.P. Spoiler alert: the 4th place finisher is a rare Brabham-powered Cooper. ;)

Love that video because I love old racing cars. To that end, here is a video of an Indy car that had the same kind of luck as Dan Gurney, that is mostly bad. The Novi was estimated to have as much as twice the power as the Offy engines most cars used, but that created reliability and mileage problems. Here is the 1948 Kurtis-Novi.

Thanks, Lonny! I was always a fan of the Novis. They always sounded great!
I watched the NASCAR iRace last Sunday. One of the cars suddenly turned hard left into the wall. The commentators were speculating that it was either a suspension failure or a cut down tire. It turned out the driver's steering wheel unit came unplugged from the console.

I watched this vid about old school F1, it's mainly about Williams team but reminds us about T cars, changing out quali engines & gearboxes, super sticky quali only tyres, and bending the rules to the limit with raising and lowering the ride height with switchable devices.
A good watch in my opinion just to see how things were in 1981, boy the engines sound loud 'n proud.

Sorry I haven't been around. A household of 4, while working full time, I haven't found much time. Both kids are home from school, my wife was doing home office, and I've been doing shifts at work.
I will return, but probably only as the world finds some normalcy, I will as well.
Hope everyone is well and as a friend of mine said 'staying upright'. Keep it that way.
-
I am still upright and well, as are all my family. Half-expecting to get recalled to work tomorrow. Halfway through Volume 2 of the corona diary. Two takeaways re-opened in the last few days, and I'm sitting with a pile of leftover fish and chips in front of me (it seems their idea of a portion has grown since they were last open).
