The six-cylinder unit currently exists and "is complete and running on the test bench", with Porsche's technicians using it "for analyses and further orders with regard to series relevance", says Fritz Enzinger, Porsche motorsport boss.
However its unclear whether it incorporates MGU-H capability.

Some manufacturers complain about costs, and then Porsche just goes ahead and designs one without any idea if they'll sell it or use it.

(Although Canadian Ubers are driven by immigrants... so basically they're just taxi drivers. (Canadian taxi drivers are doctors who don't have a local licence to practice, because our government wants the best of the best, but doesn't have a system in place to recognize foreign certification.))

A large percentage of Ubers around here are unemployed factory workers & underemployed WalMart employees, food service folks and musicians.
(The last is a bit of a rib at a friend & band mate who sometimes drives Uber. :P )
