Title: Is Honda getting it's excuse in early with F1 engines regs grey areas talk?
Post by: John S on February 09, 2019, 06:48:36 PM
Seems like they are pretending to be gentlemen whilst suggesting Merc and Ferrari are touching on dodgy areas.

F1 is the unkindest arena in all motorsport for the participants, you'd think Honda with it's years in the formula both as a team owner and engine supplier would have been aware of this from Day 1 of their new adventure with McLaren.  ::)

Methinks this press release was written in MK rather than Minato, Tokyo.  :D

F1 is all about exploiting the grey areas.

The FIA does need to work with engine manufacturers to make sure that everyone is on board with cost/technical limitations.  They have to be careful about putting up barriers to entry.

Honda are so in the habit of putting excuses in early that they'll probably do it the one year the tide turns too.
