Title: RIP J.R.
Post by: Scott on November 24, 2012, 02:19:29 PM
I liked him more in I Dream of Genie, but he was a mean villain in Dallas.  Larry Hagman passed away at 82yrs

RIP Larry  :(

Dallas reminds me of Saturday nights staying with my Gran when I was a kid. I loved JR.

82, not a bad innings, I thought he was great in Dallas, the little smirk at the end of every episode.

R.I.P JR..

What I could remember about this series, is that Dad and my extended family were extremely fond of it.

The memories that I have about this show that people would drive beautiful cars, having dinner, and after dinner they would come close and Dad would change the channel. Didn't have a clue then, now I know.. ;)

Actually I liked him as the master of a gorgeous Ginnie.. To be frank envied him for having such a sexy lady at his command.. ;)

He was also an avid motorcyclist and frequently attended biker rallies like Sturgis and Daytona.

It's a tribute to him the he became one of this nation's most beloved actors by portraying one of its most despicable villains.

RIP, Larry.
