That's a crazy story, that guy had some nerve to pull that one off. I know I've had few flights where the pilots might have been apprentices.

With 13 years flying experience he could surely now be classed as a fully qualified pilot.  :DntKnw:

An American TV show called 'MythBusters' proved that anyone can land a jumbo jet with minimal training.  The planes are so automated, the pilot is mostly there in case of a system failure.  (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chesley_Sullenberger (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chesley_Sullenberger))

Luckily Salame's passengers never needed to deal with an emergency.
