Well read it for yourself and decide if it's for real or just B/S.

Four tenths up on what? - The predicted time, or is it up on what Charles had managed previously?  :DntKnw:

Maybe Lewis has done it again & jumped into the best car at the right time, time will tell.

Seems we were all wrong and Williams have stayed pretty much in the same palette as last term, i.e. Dark Blue.  :swoon:

Begs the question who was fooling whom when Williams claimed the livery at Silverstone ahead of F1 75 group reveal was not a 'looky likie' of 25 livery.

General F1 Discussion / Re: F1 Liveries Launch
« Last post by John S on Today at 10:41:02 AM »
I haven't watched the show, I don't pay for SKY Sports in the off season. However from what I have seen online this morning the only surprise is Racing bulls has gone for predominantly white.
 - Oh and Ferrari have added big splashes of white too.

Otherwise most seem to be a half hearted B spec livery of last year's effort.   :lazy:

I'm looking to Oscar to get the better of Lando at McLaren. Oh & Alex to keep Carlos in check at Williams.

There are a couple teams who aren't locked in to a color like Ferrari is. Though I doubt there will be anything radical, Haas, Williams, or Alpine might surprise. Even McLaren has made changes in the past.

I can't wait till things go sour between Lewis and Charles

I'm sure y'all already guessed that I voted for the Haas option.  ;)

All the F1 talking heads have their thoughts on the upcoming season.

I tried to pick out the compelling story line for each team, some definitely have a lot going on, and some don't, but I think there's something for all sorts of fans of the sport to dig into.

"There is no exact hue for BRG – currently the term is used to denote a spectrum of deep, rich greens.
"British racing green" in motorsport terms meant only the colour green in general – its application to a specific shade has developed outside the sport."

Extract Courtesy Wickipedia free encyclopedia.

Amen to that! When I started working on my 1970 MG Midget I found out that from 1964 through 1970 BMC offered 2 different British Racing Greens for MG's apparently simultaneously. One was BMC color code GN25 & the other GN29. The paint manufacturers all list different code numbers for each of the colors, too.

Whilst I agree there are too many conversations where every second word seems to be an expletive, I don't think fining drivers for swearing in their workplace is correct. These are private conversations which we are allowed to listen in to. Just bleep them out or don't broadcast the message (which would lead to the interesting situation of swearing in order to keep the message private).

I don't think it's F1s job to change society and we should stop pretending it can. F1 is increasingly racing in brutal (by western standards) authoritarian regimes and they are worried about swearing, whilst normalising places with very questionable regimes, so people don't feel bad about visiting them on their holidays.

As for swearing, this is just a continuation of the increasing lack of respect for others. I don't know where it will lead, but I was glad that I recently heard someone got fined in France for watching TikTok or whatever on full volume on their phone whilst on a train. You see this behaviour all the time nowadays. Since when did that become normal - and to be clear it's more likely to be a 50 something than teenager in my experience.
