Title: Autosport 2014 Trade Day Tickets Anyone?
Post by: Wizzo on October 15, 2013, 10:49:14 AM
Autosport International will be held at the NEC, Birmingham from the 9th until the 12th January, 2014.

I am looking at attending the show on a Trade Day (Friday 10th January) with several friends/family.

The Autosport Show is a great day out and Trade Day's have the added advantage of being much emptier than public days. There are usually many special offers only open to people attending on these days with many auto stands including some from F1 teams.

Are there any members who would be interested in attending the show on either Trade Day on the 9th or 10th January?

The cost of the tickets are as follows:

Adult = £26 (includes brochure normally £10)
Live Action Arena = £10 (optional but well worth a look)
Under 16s are only admitted to the Show when accompanied by an adult. Parking fees are not included.

Anyone interested needs to indicate their interest below and I will PM you with the details I will need. You will be able to pay by debit or credit card.

Please express your interest as soon as possible so I have time to register you as attending the show.

GPWizard will pay all charges involved with processing payments and sending out tickets. Tickets are non refundable once paid for (their rules not mine).

Humming and hawing...given it a miss for the past two years, not sure if I should put out the cash to go to Birmingham again.  Besides, Easyjet's site is on the fritz, so I can't even check ticket prices yet.

Wish I could, Wizzo, but there's that pesky ocean again.  :(

Doubt if I'll be able to make it this time, Wizzo. Enjoy the show.

I went to the show on Friday and I have to say it was one of the best I've been to, the whole event was well organised with more to see than ever before. The crowds on trade day was less than normal which made it easy to get around and see everything. I'm pleased to hear the show was a complete success and they recorded record public day attendance on both Saturday & Sunday (I'm glad I didn't go then!).

My two Grandsons were overwhelmed by seeing (and touching) the many F1 and super cars on display. I treated them to a Caterham driving experience and to say they were buzzing when they returned was an understatement.  :good:

Autosport really pulled out the stops for the Live Action Arena this year with plenty of indoor racing, surprises and stunt shows. All in all a great day out.

I have posted a few snapshots below.

HaHa, didn't know you were a Yokohama tire fan Wizzo... :tease: :tease:

Nice shots.  I would say I wish I went this year, but the weather has been fabulous here, and I've managed to go skiing, skating and rollerblading, in less than a week back.

Love that RV at the end.  Maybe you can pick it up for the site and drive around gathering some of us up for European races  ;)

Looks like the boys had fun.  I did the Caterham experience when I was there a couple of years ago.  Feels like you're with Ken Block, but in a cabriolet.  Seriously good precision driving.   :good: :good:
