A friend of mine is back in England right now and I think the Classic Motorbike stuff may interest him? ... the trouble is, he has a busy schedule down in South End, so could be a tough ask (4+ hours on the train).
Personally, I would be tempted by the touring car event, IF I was back in the Scotland. Thanks for sharing!!
All the best,
Cal :)

I'm booking tickets for the British Touring Cars for me and my family tonight. Now I just need to know which of these has the Mini Se7ens as a support round (it was the Superkarts last year, but I don't know if that applies this year).

Had a fantastic weekend at Donington Park, even if it was cold and windy (took 3 hot chocolates and a cheeseburger to stay warm). The Ginettas were wild (especially the Junior race), the BTCC cars were... ... driven like BTCC cars and the Fords found many new and inventive lines around the venue.
The letter I wrote about it (or specifically, its marshalling) made it into this week's copy of Autosport too :D

Very cool...can you copy the letter to us? Or is it somewhere on the Autosport website?
-
I'm sure it will be in the Autosport website, most likely in its "Plus" section (since it appeared in the magazine).
However, now that I've got the issue back from my parents, I'm happy to type it out:
Great work, whatever the weather
Thank you to the marshals who did a sterling job at a cold and windy Donington Park last weekend, especially the Redgate crews who dug out the #7 car in the last Ginetta race, enabling it to park in a safe position for retrieval.
It is because marshals are so skilled and so willing to put up with uncomfortable weather that we get the exciting motorsport we enjoy.
