Title: Force India Sponsor "Careens Towards Collapse"
Post by: cosworth151 on February 29, 2012, 01:45:13 PM
Kingfisher Airlines, owned by Vijay Mallya and a major sponsor of Sahara Force India F1, is on the verge of financial collapse. It isn't clear what effect, if any, that event will have on the team. Mallya could just put the name of another of his companies on the side of his cars. (Mallya Construction, etc.) Hopefully, it won't have the same effect on FIF1 that the collapse of sponsor SS United had on Super Aguri.

His crumbling business empire could be the reason Mallaya sold half the team to Sahara group last year.
