Title: New innovation from McLaren a cutaway floor

This article from Autosport.com gives more detail on Macca's new floor design. Could this wrong foot their opponents?

Just like Steven suggested this may be the old Colin Chapman mis-direction, we are all supposed be watching for a new wing but maybe it's the floor thats the big idea and it's now too late to copy it :DntKnw:

A normally reliable contact tells me that tonight Red Bull are flying a new floor out to the test and it may contain cutaways so there may be something in it.  Although for the life of me I don't understand what.
