He has incriminating photos of Guenther Steiner and Gene Haas looking at Ferrari blueprints, so keeps reminding them of this fact when it comes to contract renewal time.

He has kept his seat in previous seasons because he had lot of good performances and, particularly in his final years at Renault (when it was called Lotus) he compared favourably to Raikkonen. This year, he has made a lot of unforced errors and has spent far too much time complaining on the radio. I was a bit surprised that he was retained, but perhaps Haas did not have many better alternative options.
