Title: DNS Server error problems
Post by: Mollie on August 23, 2017, 10:51:41 AM
So my computer gets connected to the internet via WiFi (a modem connected to the home broadband connection) however, after every 5 minutes it gets disconnected. I am not sure if the problem is with the ISP or simply because my modem is not transmitting packets... tried troubleshooting using the "troubleshoot option" in Windows, I do this around 10 times over a span of 15 minutes, however, it still it gives me the same error?
Guys..am i missing something here? How do i resolve this?

Mollie, firstly I obviously have no knowledge of your level of proficiency/confidence with making changes on your PC but you can always try changing the DNS servers that you are using. For example, you could try the Google DNS servers (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4) which might help proving if the issue was with your ISP's DNS servers.

There's some guidance here if it helps
