Title: Upgrade Suggestion for 2018 GG

I know that the GG is intended to drive traffic to the site, and I'm also aware that players who do poorly in the GG tend to stop playing and presumably don't visit as often.

Now that we have a points system on the board, perhaps we can award points for race wins, so there is still reason to play the GG even if you're not in the running for the championship.  Indeed, any new friends who join us midseason would be able to join the fun!

I think that it works very well as it is.  It's the taking part that counts after all, not the final result :).
