Title: F1 Grid Game Prize
Post by: Wizzo on March 19, 2007, 05:19:40 PM

Hi Guys,

Please let me know what you think would be the best prize for our F1 Grid Game from the poll above. If you have any other ideas then please post them here.

Also let me know what you think of the prizes offered.

Cheers

You could always offer me and the ma-in-law a pair of tickets, all expenses paid to the Malaysian GP he he, no, seriously tho' the prizes are fine. Lets not forget Wizard, this is THE f1 site and the competitions are fun and anyone wanting to win a thumping big prize is missing, I think, the essence of GP-Wizard, it's serious about f1 but also entertaining 'cos we can all joke with one another without offence being taken.

Hi Wizard, I think that any prize you give out is extremely generous considering nobody else contributes financially to this site!

Mate, let me be the first smart a*se on this site to say "IT WAS AN HONOUR JUST TO BE NOMINATED"

But seriously, you contribute so much financially for this site to exist, all the winners of prizes from you (I know I speak for all of us), are all completely overwhelmed by your selfless generosity, I have to agree with the others, whilst prizes are great and all, what must it say about this sites members if we can't have just a friendly game and no put a burden on you.....I think the others will agree with me when I say, you have been giving out prizes to us, why not reward yourself for all your hard work.......

And I will try to use my skills and software to come up with something special for you to enjoy as a thanx from Australia.

Bragging rights will be fine. Not that any of us would brag, though. (I'm in third place :yahoo:)

All joking aside, Wizard, you do more than enough giving us F1 fiends this place to get together. As dare and I have often said, F1 info is a scarce thing here in the States. Good F1 conversation is even nore rare. Thanx, Wizard!

Ahhh you guys are making me blush.  :-[ I'm glad you love the forum as much as I do.

It's a constant drain on my finances but the wife and kids gladly go without food to keep you lot happy. They soon forget their hungry bellies when we sit round the last remaining candle and I tell them what you've all been up to on the forum.

They laugh out loud and I can literally see their ribs being tickled by your antics. If I ever get to meet you I will raise a weak and weary hand and try and shake yours.

Each and everyone of you has played your part in putting a smile on my families chapped lips.

Seriously though.......we are all very hungry!

Yes its the same here in the UK. If you go to any major town or shopping area you will be hard pushed to find anywhere decent to eat, its all fast food now.

Its amazing that our government is concerned about the over weight population and yet it is the town councils who give permission for the fast food restaurants to open. Wouldn't the logical step be to have a balanced restaurant policy? so each town had 5 fast food and 5 regular eating establishments.

Personally I never eat fast food.

Same here, Rom! It's become a running joke that I know every fast food place off of every Interstate off-ramp in the eastern half of the US.

By the way, 210 pounds. Not too bad for 6 foot 6 inches.

Cosworth not bad 210=15 stones:
Thought you guys would like this keeping with the thread.

MacDonald's Soliloquy
A Parody after Macbeth

Is this a burger which I see before me,
The soft bun in my hand? Come, let me clutch thee.
I eat thee not, and yet I want thee still.
Art thou not, gourmet's vision, sensible
To taste as to sight? or art thou but
A burger of the mind, a false dinner,
Proceeding from the meat-oppressed stomach?
I see thee yet, in form as palatable
As this cracker which now I chew.
Thou nourish'st me on the way that I was going,
And such condiments I was to use!
Mine mouth are made the fools o' the other senses,
The calories worth all the rest; I see thee still,
And on thy plate and Happy Meals of fat,
Which was not so before. There's no such food:
It is the bloody diet which informs
Thus to mine eyes. Now o'er the Weight Watchers
Tastebuds seem dead, and raw salads abuse
The growling bowels; famished celebrate
Jenny Craig's offerings, and wither'd hunger,
Alarum'd by his sentinel, the bathroom scale,
Laughs as it watches, thus with his mocking numbers.
With Hamburglar's ravishing strides, towards his goal
I move like a ghost. Thou warm and delicious beef,
Hear not my teeth, which way they chew, for fear
My very swallows prate of my gluttony,
And take the present mirror from the room,
When now suits do not fit. Whiles I starve, he lives:
Buffets to the heat of charbroiled chicken gives.
[A bell rings.]
I go, and it is done; the microwave bell invites me.
Hear it not, Tongue; for it is a knell
That summons thy mouth to heaven and thy body to hell.
[Exeunt.]

Classic, Stig! :D

I hit a lot of truck stops out on the road. For abuot a year, they were trying to sell one of the worst looking foods I've ever seen. Most of them have self serve roller grilles - those things they cook hotdogs on. Actually, they more or less turn the hotdogs into jerky! Anyway, they came up a way to sell cheeseburgers off of them. They mixed chunks of cheese in with the meat, roll it into a cylinder and put it on the rollers. Once they cooked for a while, they really did look like they came from the wrong end of a large dog.

They sold about as well as you would expect and are now gone.
