Just hours after completing a two-day test at Barcelona, Michael Schumacher was back on track at Mugello as he enjoyed the sensations of a two-seater Ducati Desmosedici ridden by Eurosport commentator Randy Mamola at the Italian Grand Prix.

Mamola, who is always on hand to give VIP guests a taste of the two-seater Ducati Desmosedici at each Grand prix of the season, was visibility moved by the presence of the Formula One legend being and thus put in a performance worthy of the moment.
The thirteen time Grand prix winner began the two-lap stint by pulling a wheelie half way down the Mugello straight before comforting Schumacher with a tap on the knee. He then proceeded to push the machine to the limit, turning the machine on its side in many of Mugello's sweeping corner.
Mamola brought the experience to an end by braking the Desmosedici onto its front wheel, stopping a matter of centimetres from the awaiting media. "It was very impressive! Impressive is about the only word I can find at the moment," Schumacher told reporters.
"On a bike you feel the speed more, you feel the machine moving around more, which is very different from a car, when you're inside and feel more protected," he added.
"Plus, when you are riding with someone, you don't know what's going to happen and that makes it very interesting!"
"I patted Randy on the back a couple of times to remind him that I've got the Silverstone F1 GP next week!" he mused. "It was a spectacular experience but now I have ridden a MotoGP bike myself and ridden the two-seater, I think I have done enough, I'm not planning to become a bike racer myself!"
