Great result For England.
England 37...South Africa 21

England 58.....15 Fiji :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo:

I'm pleased to see England doing well Jones has made a difference the big one though is not going to happen till 2018 when England and the AB's meet it will then be four years since they last met.
I'm pleased in a way that its like this as we are getting to the stage of too much rugby so having the the mystery of who's number one is good for the game.
I'm looking forward to the Lions tour here next year as well as I think they'll take to the Southern Hemisphere sides.

Could be a tough one tomorrow for England.....Argentina.

Could be a tough one tomorrow for England.....Argentina.
I'm not so sure about that as Argentina are considered the weak team down here in the four nations so I expect another convincing win which I believe will make it 11 on the trot?
-
I admit Argentina are having a bad run Andy, they've lost 7 of their last 9 games and are down to 9th ranking in the world, but they're going to come at us with a vengeance, for other reasons apart from rugby.
-
I don't think its a bad run Ian its the way it is they have won just 2 games in the four nations since 2013 although they are an improving side they are still below par and the level of Italy maybe?
The 27 - 14 result for England is a little flattering from what I understand but a win is a win and next week its the Aussies which is never an easy game.
I didn't think the AB's looked very good and spent quite a long time defending although they did that quite well, their season is now over as the Aussies will be after next week and maybe it could be Cheka's swan song?
Is that now 12 consecutive games unbeaten for England?
-
Sure is 12 Andy, and yes 27..14 is a bit flattering, if the Argies hadn't had England's old problem of giving away so many penalies it might have been a different story. Daly certainly deserved that red card.

I found out its actually 13 wins so if they keep this up by the end of the 6 Nations they'll beat the 18 wins record.

Even better Andy, cheers mate. :good:

England 37:21 Australia
Wow, after the 1st half I thought they were gonna slaughter us,we were rubbish. Came out for the 2nd half and boy o boy, what a different team. :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo:

An excellent win and 14 wins just four away from equalling the record.

I loved what Eddie Jones said. "No one owns an England jersey, they borrow the jersey for 80 minutes, you are lucky to get it again, you have to work hard to get it, if you don't you won't get it."

I had my doubts when he took the roll but he's quite refreshing and if soccer managers were like it I may even watch a game or two.

Footballers would have to stop diving so much, pretending they've been hurt and respecting officials more, that includes managers too before I'll start watching it.

I'd second all of that.

Only got until Feb 4th and then the 6 Nations kicks off Andy ;)
