Do NOT like the Paul Ricard circuit, all those flipping coloured lines and the mile wide run off areas, would have to be a helluva smash to warrant the S/C.

It was never a great circuit, but at least they would blast down the straight at 200+ MPH and take turn one flat out. It even looked scary, and I reckon it took big brass ones as they say. BUT... they installed freaking chicanes (I think F1 only uses 1) to slow 'em down and now it's just another corner. Crap!!!

Strange time for the start tomorrow, 15:10, not that I'll be watching it, can't get a stream to work.

Strange time for the start tomorrow, 15:10, not that I'll be watching it, can't get a stream to work.

They've moved the start time from 14.10 to 15.10 to avoid a clash with the World Cup (soccer) tournament, Ian. The England v Panama game ends at 14.45 and the Japan v Senegal one starts at 16.00.

Even Liberty recognises F1 is trumped by the Footy, I guess they feel once they've got an audience it will stay to the end. Unfortunately that doesn't include poor souls (hard up Rugby fans) like you without Sky TV. - Sorry!   ;)

P.S. highlights on Ch 4 at 10.10pm, unless it's past your bedtime.  :D

Don't need sky for rugby John, I've got BT Sport, full of rugby, plus ch4 show a lot rugby union, just watched Scotland thrash Argentina on it. Footy will never trump F1 in my book, even next year when I won't watch F1 footy won't take it's place.

This is the only race this season I was glad of the delay to the start of the Grand Prix. Had it been an hour earlier, I would have had to miss the start due to a karting competition I was doing in Stoke this weekend.
