Title: Drive To Survive
Post by: Willy on March 02, 2020, 04:20:10 PM
I just finished watching the 2nd season of Drive to Survive on Netflix and quite enjoyed the alternate perspective given.
I liked Season 1 and hoped they would continue with further seasons.
The producers did a very good job of following various teams and seeing in-depth the situations each team dealt with during the 2019 season.
It was also nice to hear the actual dialogue amongst themselves without the sanitised version the media gets and broadcasts.
It gives a better understanding of each team and the challenges they have to stay ahead, or try to catch, the competition.

I just finished it too.  Love it.  Really compliments the season and was a super recap in preparation for the new season of F1.

Favourite moment (no spoiler) was in the last episode they were getting people’s general opinions on the upcoming season and drivers and race principals all gave various cannned responses about how hard they will work and it’s a team sport and they expect great things...and then came Kimi.  :DD :DD :DD :DD :DD
“For me it’s a hobby, so I can stop anytime”
 :DD :DD I’m still chuckling.

F1 couldn't survive if all drivers were like Kimi, but thank God we have one Kimi.

Yup...Kimi is a media darling.
