Austrian GP FP1 and FP2 saw big names struggle. In addition to these, Hulkenberg destroyed the front wing of his Renault in the penultimate corner.

There has been more action in that practice session than the entire season thus far. Driver mistakes being punished is how this sport should be and it takes an old and narrow circuit to cause this to occur. Even so, they're still lucky, as there are not enough gravel traps any more.

It was interesting to see the FIA garage when the drivers went to get weighed after Q3 that there was a whole pile of broken front wings in for inspection.
