Title: Toyota waves a virtual goodbye with tribute website
Post by: John S on January 25, 2010, 12:59:56 PM

Toyota is bidding farewell to Formula 1 with a virtual tribute to "those who supported it during eight emotional seasons in amongst the teams at the pinnacle of motorsport."

The Japanese manufacturer, who left Formula 1 at the end of last year, has put together a collection of exclusive photos and videos on its website to look back at its time in grand prix racing.

sadly John I cannot be bothered looking at a presentation that really should be titled:

"A Salute to Mediocrity: TOYOTA'S Eight Dismal Years in F1"

best that they remain with their core business making the world's best mass consumption/production cars, albeit some of the most bland and boring except for the  3 litre turboed Supra which I once owned.
