Wait for it........it's the SF15-T. :swoon: How original Maranello's new chiefs are. :D
Ferrari has revealed that its 2015 car will be called the SF15-T, following on from the name of its previous car, the F14-T.
The 'S' stands for Scuderia and has been added to pay homage to the team, whilst the 'F' stands for Ferrari, followed by the year and finally the 'T' is in reference to the turbo engine.
Last year the name was chosen by fans in a public vote, but this year it was decided upon by Ferrari's chiefs.
GPtimes, today.

It's weird that Ferrari put so much thought into it, where most other teams just increment the owner's/team name initials.
I do suppose it harkens back to an era where the cars in F1 weren't necessarily dedicated F1 chassis

A quote from Ferrari team principal Maurizio Arrivabene:
“Enzo Ferrari said a long time ago the best car is a winning car. Last year we had an ugly car, and it was a nonwinning car on top of this. I like the car of this year in terms of aesthetics. I don't know about the performance, but it's really sexy.”
I think I'm going to like this guy. :good:
