Mrs Wiz says many thanks for all your Birthday wishes.
Mrs Wiz has been taken ill recently after being diagnosed with breast cancer. This is devastating news at any time but after losing our daughter to lung cancer in February well, I can't even put into words how we felt.
She has undergone several operations and has spent sometime in hospital. She had three hospital appointments on her birthday and on the last one she was told by the doctors that they believe they have removed all the cancer and the outlook is good, making this the best birthday present she could have hoped for.
She still has a long road in front of her and will be recovering for the next 2-3 months but shes takes every new day as it comes and I'm pleased to say the future looks bright.

Thank you for the update, Wizzo. I am glad Mrs Wiz got such a wonderful "present" and hope things get better for you both, after a particularly difficult year.

I'm so glad that you both have finally gotten some good news. I hope that you are both past the worst of it and that it's all good news from here on. Remember that you both have friends all around the world who wish you the best.
