Have you viewed the footage posted on Judge13.com, Monty?

About what Willy said in his post - When I was younger I never wore ear protection at the track. I was way too cool & too tough for anything like that. I now have tinnitus and an almost constant ringing in my ears. Do your future self a favor & wear ear protection. I wish I would have. Children should always have it on in loud situations.

I've been 30 feet from 2 Top Fuel dragsters when they launched, just behind the wall at the start of a GP when they were loud 3 liter cars, just behind the wall at the start of a 250cc 2 stroke field of motorcycles, 10 rows back at a Hendrix concert, etc., etc. Like Cos I have tinnitus, I am quite deaf, my hearing aids have never worked like they are designed to work. Ear protection is essential for fans of all ages.
Lonny
