Title: Think Electric cars are no fun to drive? ECTR is here to ruffle feathers
Post by: John S on February 26, 2021, 03:42:01 PM
First all electric Touring Car series kicks off this June in Italy.
According to video It'll be the most exciting motor series since Formula E ........ Ahem!!! ;)
-  Well it has 'Battle Gates'!  :D

Novel format will allow full beans on every lap, so might be more viewer friendly than FE.

One lap time trial sounds a lot like qualifying to me. Only four cars on track sounds like a lot of waiting for them to come by. And it seems they're hoping for a lot of 1st turn crashes to appeal to the people who like that sort of stuff. Doesn't appeal much to me going in.

As I've said before, I'm not really into gimmick racing.  :nono:
