Post by: cosworth151 on November 22, 2017, 01:50:47 PM
Most of you know that Porsche is leaving prototype racing in the WEC. Toyota has released a short tribute farewell video. Classy move.  :good:

Does this mean Toyota gets a free shot at the WSC next year as the only works team then Cos?

Is that also why Nando is so keen to do Le Mans next year?  ;)

Because of the exits of Audi & Toyota, the FIA-WEC will be combining the LMP1-H (Hybrid) and LMP1-L (Non-hybrid) for next season. ByKolles Racing (Romulus & Colin Kolles) is expected to continue in LMP1. Ginetta says it's getting in, hooking up with Manor. ORECA may also jump in. AER is building engines for the class.
