December 02, 2015, 12:19:15 PMSebastian Vettel on his second morning as an F1 driver. He's arriving in the paddock at Indy on the Saturday morning of the 2007 U.S.G.P. A few more people recognized him than they did on Friday. That morning, the only people who noticed his arrival were a cameraman for Fuji TV and me.
He was driving for BMW-Sauber in relief for Robert Kubica. Kubica had a major shunt at Montreal the week before. The Medical Delegate wouldn't clear him to drive because of a possible concussion.
The next day, Seb started his first GP. He became the youngest driver ever to score F1 points that day.
