What floors me is today's supercars lap some 90 seconds faster than Stewart's Tyrrell did back in the day.

That's Jackie's voice alright, but surely that looks like Howden Ganley's Iso-Marlboro - fettled by Frank Williams racing at the time, making the run round the Nürburgring. 

Still a good vid to watch - and listen to - though Dare.  :good:

Good vid, Dare! I wonder if a current F1 car could take that kind of a beating and still hold together for an entire race.

That was Ganley. The following year, he suffered a career ending shunt at the Ring.

I love the sound of the engines at high rpm's and we all know the Tyrell's
were tat lovely blue
