I know it is a bit off topic but I was really pleased to see Paul DiResta win LeMans LMP2 and get 5th overall.
I have always felt that Paul could have done better in F1 but didn't have the money to get a seat where he could really show his talent.

I don't think Paul and his F1 team quite clicked, but it is good to see him at a team where he is happy - and winning (a class of) Le Mans is a great achievement in itself. Congratulations, Paul!

The LMP2 was the closest class of the race, going down to the last last. One of the drivers of the 2nd place LMP2 car was another F1 alumnus, Ant Davidson.

Di Resta not only won Le Mans, but clinched the LMP2 season championship.

Remember Brendon Hartley picked up his second Le Mans win to go along with his two WEC titles. F1 may have not suited him but WEC does.
